HOMLÈDJ Automated Laundry Rack Series Installation DOs and DON'Ts

✅ On installation day, do be around/in proximity to the vicinity by the booked installation time to ensure our team can start installation upon arrival e.g booked slot is 9am to 11am, ensure you are around/in proximity to the vicinity by 9am. Let us know if you are currently not residing at the place of installation so we could have them preempt you 30mins before their arrival. Note there is a waiting charge of $10 per 10 mins block by our installer after 20mins of Grace Period, in the event they are unable to start installation upon arrival. |

✅ Do check and confirm your order’s Shipping Address to ensure it is the correct address for installation. If Shipping Address indicated in your order is wrong or different from installation address, please let us know the correct address for installation asap. |

3. | ✅ Clear the installation area of items/valuables/personal belongings/food items before installation day. The installation team will need a clear space for their equipment and tools, as well as to manoeuvre for installation. | ✖️ Don’t leave your items/valuables/personal belongings/food items at the installation area as the installation team will not be liable for damages or contamination from installation works. |
4. | ✅ If your place is undergoing renovation, ensure your contractor clears the installation area of renovation materials, packages, parcels etc before installation day. The installation team will need a clear space for their equipment and tools, as well as to manoeuvre for installation. | ✖️ Don’t leave renovation materials, packages, parcels etc at the installation area. |

✅Be there in-person or have a representative present to liaise with the installation team on installation day. Ensure the person present is a primary decision-maker who can liaise directly with the installation team on-site. If your contractor has reinforced your ceiling for your installation, prior to installation day please send clear pictures, with installation orientation clearly marked out and have clear demarcations on the ceiling on-site for installation. Refer to Point 7 below for more details. In the event you have no representative and/or primary decision-maker present on the actual day to liaise with the installation team, the installation team shall install in the manner they deem fit/most suitable and we will not be liable for any discrepancies arising from such a scenario. |

6. | ✅ If your contractor/electrician is preparing the ceiling light point for the installation, ensure the ceiling lighting point is left in this manner for our installation team’s use: Light Point 1 OR Light Point 2. | ✖️ If your contractor/electrician is preparing the ceiling lighting point for the installation, don’t leave the ceiling lighting point in this manner: Light Point 3 OR Light Point 4. |

✅ If your contractor is reinforcing your false ceiling for the installation, ensure your contractor clearly demarcates the location of reinforcement on ceiling as the spot of installation like this: Reinforcement Location AND Reinforcement Dimension At Location. The dimension of the rack is as follows, please share this with your contractor for his reinforcement reference and have a discussion with him to ensure he positions the spot of installation accurately: Model X, Model X-Plus |
✖️ Not clearly demarcating the location of reinforcement on the ceiling as the spot of installation. If on installation day itself, the installation team is not able to locate the reinforced spot of installation, additional costs will be applicable for reinforcement by our installation team. |

✅ If your contractor is reinforcing your false ceiling for the installation, ensure you share the rack’s specs chart Model X, Model X-Plus with your contractor for his reinforcement reference and have a discussion with him to make sure he positions the spot of installation accurately where you will want it to be. If unsure, check with our team on your proposed installation spot after your discussion with your contractor. |
✖️ Not sharing the rack’s dimension with your contractor and not discussing with your contractor where the reinforcement should be, based on the given dimensions, and not clarifying with our team the desired spot of installation when in doubt/after discussion with your contractor. If on installation day itself, installation team finds no reinforcement was done at the demarcated spot of installation, additional costs will be applicable for reinforcement by our installation team. If you wish to change spot of installation from the spot that your contractor had reinforced prior, additional costs will be applicable for reinforcement by our installation team. |
Note on Rescheduling:
If you need to reschedule the installation, do inform our team via Whatsapp Message at least a day in advance i.e the day before installation day. Our team will guide you on the next step. In the event of unforeseen situations where our installation team needs to reschedule the installation, they will be in touch with you directly for rescheduling and you will be informed at least a day in advance i.e the day before installation day.
For all reschedulings, our installation team will offer you the earliest available slot and you may accept or request to rearrange to another date based on your provided dates and timings to avoid. The rescheduled slot will be agreed on by you and installer, subject to availability of preferred date and timings and/or date and timings to avoid.
